DESCRIPTION:BATTLE OF THE BANDS SUBMISSION ARE OPEN\n\nSubmission deadline: Friday October 2\, 2026 \n\n\n			\n				Submit today\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The MacEwan Music Club is partnering with The Students’ Association of MacEwan University (SAMU) to organize a Battle Of The Bands event on January 8\, 2027 at Temple Bar (Starlite Room). \nThe event will feature 5 bands selected from this audition who will perform a set of original music and one cover song. The performances will be adjudicated by a panel of judges who will determine the winner at the night’s end. The prize for the winner will be a performance at SAMU’s Fall Fest 2027! \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				rules and conditions apply \n				\nYour band must include at least one MacEwan student that is enrolled in the 2026/27 academic year.\nYour demo submission must be original and performed at the event.\nYour submission must include a current professional headshot /press photo.\nSongs performed at the event must be original\, except for one cover\, which must be included in the set.\nYou must be available to perform at SAMU’s Fall Fest 2027 in September.\nPlease submit auditions before the deadline at 11:59 pm\, Friday\, October 2nd\, 2026.
