BATTLE OF THE BANDS SUBMISSION ARE OPEN
Submission deadline: Fri October 4, 2024
The MacEwan Music Club is partnering with The Students’ Association of MacEwan University (SAMU) to organize a Battle Of The Bands event on January 10th at Temple Bar (Starlite Room).
The event will feature 5 bands selected from this audition who will perform a set of original music and one cover song. The performances will be adjudicated by a panel of judges who will determine the winner at the night’s end. The prize for the winner will be a performance at SAMU’s Fall Fest 2025!
Rules and conditions apply
- Your band must include at least one MacEwan student that is enrolled in the 2024/25 academic year.
- Your demo submission must be original and performed at the event.
- Your submission must include a current professional headshot /press photo.
- Songs performed at the event must be original, except for one cover, which must be included in the set.
- You must be available to perform at SAMU’s Fall Fest 2025 in September.
- Please submit auditions before the deadline at 11:59 pm, Friday, October 4th, 2024.
