Meet SAMU Week 2024
January 2 - January 5
Welcome, and welcome back! We’re so excited to have everyone on campus for the Winter semester. We have a packed first week for you with prizes to win and programming about what SAMU offers during your academic journey!
$1000 in tuition credits and more prizes to be won!
Enter below and come to each of our Meet SAMU events for up to five entries into our grand prize draw, plus giveaways every day of the week!

*Two $500 tuition credits are available for students to win. Students may only win one of two grand prizes. The grand prize draw will occur on the week of January 8, 2024. The grand prize winners must complete a Prize Claim Form to receive prizes after a successful draw.
SCHEDULE:
January 2: New Student Orientation, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Building 9
We will be at New Student Orientation to hand out snacks and share a little about what we do! Stop by Robbins between 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM to say hello and get your first entry into our grand prize draw.
January 3: MEET SAMU Expo & Games + Cinema Series | SAMU Building
Join us for the Meet SAMU Expo & Games in the SAMU Building from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM! Learn all about what each SAMU department does for you, plus get your second entry into our grand prize draw. But, that’s not all we have planned. Stick around in the afternoon from 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM to catch a screening of Wes Anderson’s latest masterpiece, Asteroid City!
January 5: Battle Of The Bands, 7:00 PM – Late | Temple Bar in The Starlite Room
Five bands enter, but only one can win the grand prize of opening for Fall Fest 2024—join us at Temple Bar in The Starlight Room to cheer them on and rock on all night long at SAMU’s BATTLE OF THE BANDS! Plus, get your final entry into our grand prize draw.
