SAMU reserves the right to remove any patrons from the grounds who go against these values\, and/or impairs the safety of other attendees. Those who do not operate within the code of conduct or fail to adhere to the list of prohibited items will be asked to leave once\, after which they will be removed. \nAll attendees must also abide by the MacEwan University Code of Conduct. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				RULES\n\n\nFall Fest is open to all current MacEwan Students. A valid MacEwan Student ID or guest ticket is required for entrance to the festival.\nMacEwan students may purchase up to three (3) guest tickets for their friends and family who would like to attend Fall Fest. Guest tickets are only available for purchase by MacEwan students. Guests must pick up their tickets with the purchasing MacEwan student at the Guest Ticket Pickup booth in building 6 on the event date (September 4\, 2026). Attendees must be 17+ years old to attend this event.\nThis event is subject to capacity restrictions. Admittance will be monitored to prioritize MacEwan students throughout the event. Entry for those with guest tickets will be prioritized prior to 4:30 PM on the event date. Re-entry is not guaranteed at any time.\nThe beer garden is only open to attendees ages 18+. Government-issued ID is required for entrance to the beer garden.\nAttendees\, exhibitors\, and vendors may not petition\, collect signatures\, or sell items without prior approval from the SAMU Events Team. Any additional charges or contracts offered to attendees without approval from the SAMU Events Team are strictly prohibited.\nA baggage check will be in effect. Attendees will be required to have their bags examined before entrance. It is recommended that attendees store their bags before attending the event. Attendees who do bring their bags will be required to enter through a separate gate.\nThis is a primarily standing event. Limited seating is available on a first-come\, first-served basis.\nFood and beverages will be available for purchase. Water bottles must be empty prior to entering the festival grounds and may be filled on site.\nBeer gardens will require drink tickets. Tickets will be available for purchase inside the beer gardens with a debit or credit card only.\nArtist merchandise may be available for purchase.\nDo not drink and drive.\n\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				PROHIBITED ITEMS\nThe following items are prohibited from Fall Fest grounds:\n\n\n\nNo outside alcohol\nOversized bags or backpacks are not recommended.\nAll bags are subject to inspection.\nNo glass bottles\, cans or flasks. Water bottles are subject to random inspection.\nNo flags\, signs or banners. Anything that could block or obstruct the view of other guests is prohibited.\nNo weapons of any kind. Includes knives\, pepper spray\, guns or sticks.\nNo professional photo or video cameras. Includes drones.\nNo illegal substances.\nSmoking and vaping not permitted on festival grounds.\nNo sharp objects.\nNo flyers or unsanctioned external promotions.\nNo noisemakers. Includes airhorns\, whistles\, megaphones\, drums\, etc.\nNo pets. Service animals permitted with valid documentation.\nAny confiscated items may be collected from Campus Security in the week following Fall Fest.
