DESCRIPTION:Spring Market – Call for vendors! \nWhat Is Spring Market?\nIn March\, SAMU welcomes dozens of local and student creators to sell their crafts\, artwork and other creations at the Spring Market! The Market is an opportunity for students\, staff and community members to shop for locally-made goods and to support independent creators. Join as a vendor to connect with MacEwan students\, right here on campus! \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n\n\n\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				MARKET DATES: MARCH 17 – 19\, 2026\n\n10:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily \n\n\nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 27\, 2026\n\n\nSAMU Bucks\nOn each day of the Market\, the first 20 students will receive SAMU Bucks\, valid towards a $5 purchase at any Spring Market vendor. At the end of the Market day\, vendors may exchange their SAMU Bucks for appropriate financial compensation from SAMU. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Rules & Regulations:\n\n\nVendors must be available for ALL three days of the market (Tuesday\, Wednesday\, and Thursday) for the full duration of the event.\nVendors must follow the code of conduct outlined in the waiver (provided after an application is accepted).\nVendors must not sell any items that could be deemed offensive\, inappropriate or illegal.\nFood items are permitted for sale at the Spring Market. Vendors who would like to sell food items must ensure they are pre-packaged. Food preparations must be in alignment with Alberta Health Services food vendor standards. Additional conditions may apply; please contact the Events Producer below for additional details.\nFailure to show up for your booth on any market day may result in the loss of your booking.\nAll Market vendors are required to participate in the SAMU Bucks program. See above for more information.\nFailure to comply with any of the above rules may result in the vendor becoming ineligible to participate in future Spring Markets or other SAMU market events.\nVendors can expect to receive a confirmation of their participation in the Market via email by Friday\, March 6.
