Poll Clerks

Poll Clerks are required to assist the Returning Officer on voting days by engaging students at various locations on campus. Poll clerks should be available to work mornings and/or afternoons on March 13 and 14, 2019.

Full or Part-time: Part-time

Temporary or Permanent: Temporary

Job Description:

  1. Work part-time during voting days
  2. Facilitate voting
  3. Promote elections and benefits of voting and governance.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be current MacEwan University students and must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Poll Clerks will be required to attend a one half-hour paid training session on Monday, March 11, 2019 from either 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. OR 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Remuneration:

$15.00/hour.
