SAMU is home to over 90 clubs. Each MacEwan club serves to offer extra-curricular activities while celebrating MacEwan’s diversity. Clubs range from educational groups, such as the Anthropology Club and the Design Students’ Organization, to activism clubs like the LGBTQ club InQueeries, and interest based clubs like the MacEwan Improv Club.
MacEwan Clubs are constantly expanding. MacEwan students can start a new club by filling out the application form, finding executive members to help manage the club, and getting signatures from 10 students interested in participating in the club. From there, the form must be approved by the SAMU Club Manager and the Executive Committee.
Keep in mind that clubs represent MacEwan University, must abide by all policies and procedures relating to clubs, and are responsible to keep everything on the up- and-up with the Clubs Manager.
