Eco-Ambassadors

PASSIONATE ABOUT ECOLOGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT?

Interested in teaming up with like-minded individuals committed to making ecological choices on campus and within your community? If so, then Eco-Ambassadors is the space for you!

WHAT IS AN ECO-AMBASSADOR?
The foundation of ECO SAMU is based on Environmental Justice initiatives and the principles of ecology. To sustain our ecosystem here at SAMU, we have created an ECO-Ambassadors program that is open to all MacEwan students, staff, and faculty to share space and collaborate schools of thought, practice, and experience. ECO-Ambassadors will act as community leaders by engaging in workshops, information sessions, and hands-on activities to make positive contributions to the environment.

WHY SHOULD I BECOME AN ECO-AMBASSADOR?
The Eco Ambassador program offers students, faculty, and MacEwan staff a free membership to engage in experiential learning opportunities and freebies such as:
  • Workshops and training
  • SWAG
  • Hydroponic Tower Gardening
  • Urban Farming
  • Community Socials and gatherings
  • Eco Cookbook
