What is Black Out Poetry and Mixed Media Collage?
Black Out Poetry (or Erasure Poetry) is done when an original text is taken and rearranged or blacked out to create a dialogue, make a statement, make a challenge or practice the empowerment of transforming meaning. You can learn more about Black Out Poetry through this link.
Our Mixed-Media Collage table will be filled with all that you need to create an image that amplifies your expression. You will be provided all the tools you need to transform images so that they may better represent your story and point of view.
