HAPPY PRIDE MONTH
Every Fall and Winter semester, SAMU proudly hosts a range of programs that support and uplift our 2SLGBTQ+ community, raising awareness about important issues and celebrating love, identity, and joy in all its forms.
Queer Time Tuesday
Held monthly on the first floor of the SAMU building (under the stairs), Queer Time Tuesday is our regular Pride-focused gathering. It’s a cozy and welcoming space featuring tea, literature, and occasional guest speakers from the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Dirty Sexy Bingo
Hosted by the fabulous Drag Queen Vanity Fair, Dirty Sexy Bingo is one of SAMU’s most popular 2SLGBTQ+ events. Held once per term, the event includes both NSFW and SFW prizes and guarantees a night of fun and laughter.
Pride Lounge
During MacEwan’s Pride Week in March, SAMU transforms the student lounge into a vibrant Pride Lounge! This year, we served non-alcoholic margaritas and welcomed DJ Kena León to keep the energy high with an amazing set.
