Ticket Details
MacEwan students must also provide valid MacEwan student ID to enter the venue. Tickets become available for purchase on December 10th. Tickets must be purchased by a MacEwan student. Attendees must be 18 years or older to redeem a guest ticket.
What is Winter Fest?
We’re excited to present Winter Fest, SAMU’s largest event of the Winter Term! Hosted off-campus in the second week of classes, this ticketed concert features a full slate of local and touring artists at the Starlite Room* for MacEwan students and their guests.
* The Starlite Room is an 18+ venue. Government-issued ID is required for entry.

Winter Fest - Prize Form
Contest Details
Entrants must be a current MacEwan student. Prizes include tuition credits worth $250-$500. If you are one of our selected contestants, you must attend Winter Fest to claim your prize. We will announce the winner of the contest(s) at the event. Contestants will be contacted prior to January 15th with further details. Winners must agree to the contest rules. Winners must complete a prize claim form before they can receive their prize.
Parking
There is a covered paid parking structure and a paid open lot directly across the street from the venue as well as a larger paid lot just past the venue to the South. There is also metered parking available on most of the streets in the downtown area including directly in front of the venue on 100 Avenue and on MacDonald Drive. Please be sure to read all signs carefully so you do not get a ticket.
RULES
- Attendees must purchase a ticket to attend this event. MacEwan student tickets are $5, Guest tickets are $10. Tickets are available for purchase through the link above.
- MacEwan students attending this event with student tickets must also provide valid MacEwan student ID to enter the venue.
- MacEwan students may purchase guest tickets for their friends and family who would like to attend Winter Fest. Guest tickets are available for purchase at the ticket purchase link above. Guest tickets are only available for purchase by MacEwan students. Attendees must be 18 years or older to redeem a guest ticket.
- We are hosting this event at The Starlite Room (10030 102 St NW, Edmonton, AB), which is an 18+ venue. All attendees must be over the age of 18 and must bring valid government 18 to enter the venue.
- Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the venue. Attendees will also be able to pass between the main event venue and the attached River City Revival House beneath the venue, which offers food and drink for purchase.
- A baggage check will be in effect. Attendees will be required to have their bags examined before entrance. It is recommended that attendees store their bags before attending the event.
- Due to venue restrictions, there is primarily standing room available. Extremely limited seating is available at the back of the venue, and more seating is available in River City Revival House.
- The Starlite Room is located in a near centennial building with many stairways and limited/no wheelchair access. Attendees with limited mobility are encouraged to contact the venue directly at info@starliteroom.ca to arrange any necessary accommodations.
- Artist merchandise may be available to purchase.
- Do not drink and drive.
