Learn About Leadership!
Join us for Leadership Week to discover all there is to know about being a student leader! This September, we’re hosting tabling events and a private mixer. We’re also inviting you to the next Students’ Council meeting so you can learn all about the student leadership opportunities available through SAMU, fill out the form at the bottom of this page!
Students who attend Student Leadership Week events can enter to win one of two $500 tuition credits and many more prizes!

Tuesday, Sep 17
- Student Leadership Week Info Booth | SAMU Student Lounge, 2nd Floor SAMU Building| 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Wednesday, Sep 18
- Student Leadership Week Info Booth | SAMU Student Lounge, 2nd Floor SAMU Building | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Students’ Council Meeting | The Lookout (SA-200), 2nd Floor SAMU Building | 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- This event is open to all students. The first 40 students to attend this Students’ Council Meeting will receive a $15 dollar Guusto gift card.
Thursday, Sep 19
- Student Leadership Week Info Booth | SAMU Student Lounge, 2nd Floor SAMU Building | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Students’ Council Mixer | The Lookout (SA-200), 2nd Floor SAMU Building | 2:45 PM – 5:00 PM
- Students who attend receive free lunch! Limited seats available, register above to save your spot.

Stop by the SAMU building between Tuesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 19 for information about SAMU’s student leadership opportunities, enter the $500 tuition credit prize draw, spin our prize wheel and learn more about what it means to be a leader!
Students’ Council Meeting
You’re invited to September’s Students’ Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 18! If you are thinking of running for Students’ Council, want to learn more about leadership, or are curious about what happens at these meetings and what Students’ Councillors do for you, this is an excellent opportunity to get in the know! The first 40 students to attend the Student Council Meeting will receive a $15 dollar Guusto gift card.

What do Students’ Councillors do? How do you become a Students’ Councillor? Do Students’ Councillors get paid? Get answers to these questions and more by attending Councillor Q&A in The Lookout (SA-200), 2nd Floor SAMU Building on Thursday, September 19! Students who attend are also provided a free lunch and a chance to spin our prize wheel for extra goodies.
