*Two $500 tuition credits are available for students to win. The grand prize draw will occur on the week of January 17, 2025. The grand prize winners must complete a Prize Claim Form to receive prizes after a successful draw.

New Student Orientation
We’ll be at New Student Orientation in Building 6 on January 3 with snacks and info about the different things that SAMU can do for you!
Meet SAMU Expo & Games
Stop by the SAMU Building on January 6 to meet all the different SAMU departments! We’ll have info, more snacks, games and prizes for all who attend!
Maker Series
Candle Painting returns, back due to popular demand! Choose from dozens of paints and brushes to paint your very own candle that you can take home. A perfect gift or addition to your room!
Magic Show with Chris Gowen
This is not your Grandpa’s magic show. You’ll see incredible sleight-of-hand illusions with borrowed phones and watches, objects disappearing and reappearing, next-level card tricks, even a mind-bending illusion that will happen in your own hands and much more in this high-energy, action-packed show, presented by one of the best Magicians in Canada combined with off-the-wall comedy making for a night of unforgettable entertainment.

Music Bingo
Can you identify a song by the first note? What about the second? Test your knowledge of popular music with music bingo in the Student Lounge! FREE to play and with prizes to win!
SAMU’s Battle of the Bands
Five bands enter, but only one can leave with the grand prize: THE OPENING SLOT AT FALL FEST 2025! Join us at Temple Bar in The Starlite Room to cheer them on and rock on all night long at BATTLE OF THE BANDS! January 10, 2025, doors open at 7:00 PM at the Starlite Room. Get tickets!
