Food sovereignty can be exercised through:
- Growing your own food
- Use and support of local farmers’ markets
- Reduced dependence on industrial food systems where possible
- Educating yourself and your peers on food sovereignty and food justice
- Fostering connections in your community
- Reducing your food waste
