MEET THE BANDS
There are five bands competing this year. Each band is fighting for their chance to play for YOU at Fall Fest 2025! So come on out and help us crown the winner. Here’s who you can expect to see:
Blood Pressure was founded in 2024 by singer and guitarist Tom Shenher, bringing together a unique blend of rock, pop, and dance music. The band’s sound is a refreshing fusion that feels both classic and innovative, appealing to a wide range of listeners.
Blood Pressure aims to bridge various musical communities in Edmonton, fostering collaboration and connection among artists and fans alike. By combining different styles of pop music, they aspire to create an inclusive atmosphere that revitalizes the local scene. Their mission goes beyond entertainment; they seek to elevate Edmonton’s musical landscape and draw greater attention to the city’s rich musical backgrounds.
The concept of The Carpoolers was formed back in 2023 when Hunter McWatters, (bass), had the idea to start a band. At first, he met with a group of local musicians, holding his very first band practice at MacEwan University. After some trial and error, Hunter realized that the best people to jam with were Maddie McWatters, (lead vocals), and Jayson Jones, (drums).
The trio noticed that something was missing, which were Myles Berezowsky’s, (lead guitar), blues inspired solos. Although the chemistry existed between the four, it still wasn’t complete. After searching for a few months, Rhys Primus, (backing vocals/percussion), joined the band while bringing his beaming energy, and Stephanie Martin (rhythm guitar) filled in the empty spaces, adding the finishing touch to the band known today as The Carpoolers.
