Fall Fest is SAMU’s largest welcome event. Hosted every year in the first week of classes. This free event features live music, food trucks, an 18+ beer garden, exhibitors and entertainment for all MacEwan students and their ticketed guests.

Entrance: Attendees can enter Fall Fest through the doors beside Starbucks in Building 6. Student ID and/or guest tickets required.
Guest tickets must be purchased by a MacEwan student. Guests must pick up their physical tickets inside building 6, at the Will Call booth on September 5, 2025 and must be accompanied by the purchasing Macewan Student.
9:30 pm – Event ends; after party at Hudsons on Whyte
*A party bus is available with limited seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking: Surface lot and covered parking is available on MacEwan Campus and Edmonton Downtown. The Building 7 Keyhole is closed to parking for this event.
EXHIBITORS: We’re excited to welcome a variety of exhibitors to Fall Fest 2025, including those in hospitality, sport, aesthetics and more! Attendees may speak with each of our exhibitors to learn more about their opportunities for students.
FOOD & DRINK: Every year at Fall Fest, we provide a diverse selection of local food vendors. There’s something for everyone, including gluten and dairy-free as well as vegetarian options. Drinks are available to purchase in our 18+ beer garden!

The following items are prohibited from Fall Fest grounds
Any confiscated items may be collected from Campus Security in the week following Fall Fest.
All attendees who enter festival grounds must agree to the Fall Fest Waiver.
Fall Fest operates in accordance with SAMU’s value of inclusiveness. Bullying, harassment, disrespect, large disruptions or disorderly conduct of any sort may result in your banning from event grounds and inability to participate in future SAMU events.
SAMU reserves the right to remove any patrons from the grounds who go against these values, and/or impairs the safety of other attendees.
