Food For Thought
Help SAMU improve by participating in Food For Thought’s roundtable discussions with SAMU’s Students’ Council and Executive Committee.
This is your chance to speak with your elected student representatives on topics that impact your student experience. Oh, and you could win a free lunch!
Location: The Lookout, 2nd Floor SAMU Building SA-200
Date: February 1st, 2022, 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Engage with your elected student representatives on topics like:
- Buildings & Bylaws
- Fees, U-Pass, Health & Dental
- Programs & Services, Student Groups
- Academics, Online Education Resources (OER), Modality of Learning
- Government Advocacy, Governance, Getting Involved
Event Schedule:
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm: speak with your Executive Committee and Students’ Council members at discussion tables to share your questions, feedback, and concerns about topics that are important to you.
2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: join us for a general discussion of frequently asked questions and the feedback shared at discussion tables. The Executive Committee and Students’ Council will share behind-the-scenes insights on each of the above topics.
Prizes: win a free lunch!
Every student who attends both sessions will be entered to win a $15 gift card to SAMU Building vendors, including Edo Japan, OPA!, and ChaChi’s!
Plus, all students who complete a bylaw & building feedback form will be entered to win a grand prize of $250 in tuition credits!
