Join SAMU on Friday, September 5, 2025, for a free live concert with Oliver Tree, TOBi, BIG SIS, Aqyila, renforshort and Blood Pressure.
What is Fall Fest?
Fall Fest is SAMU’s largest welcome event. Hosted every year in the first week of classes. This free event features live music, food trucks, an 18+ beer garden, exhibitors and entertainment for all MacEwan students and their ticketed guests.

Concert Details
Entrance: Attendees can enter Fall Fest through the doors beside Starbucks in Building 6. Student ID and/or guest tickets required.
Guest tickets become available for purchase starting on June 26, 2025.
Guest tickets must be purchased by a MacEwan student. Guests must pick up their physical tickets inside building 6, at the Will Call booth on September 5, 2025 and must be accompanied by the purchasing Macewan Student.

*A party bus is available with limited seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking: Surface lot and covered parking is available on MacEwan Campus and Edmonton Downtown. The Building 7 Keyhole is closed to parking for this event.
EXHIBITORS: We’re excited to welcome a variety of exhibitors to Fall Fest 2025, including those in hospitality, sport, aesthetics and more! Attendees may speak with each of our exhibitors to learn more about their opportunities for students.
FOOD & DRINK: Every year at Fall Fest, we provide a diverse selection of local food vendors. There’s something for everyone, including gluten and dairy-free as well as vegetarian options. Drinks are available to purchase in our 18+ beer garden!

CODE OF CONDUCT
Fall Fest operates in accordance with SAMU’s value of inclusiveness. Bullying, harassment, disrespect, large disruptions or disorderly conduct of any sort may result in your banning from event grounds and inability to participate in future SAMU events.
SAMU reserves the right to remove any patrons from the grounds who go against these values, and/or impairs the safety of other attendees.
FALL FEST WAIVER
All attendees who enter festival grounds must agree to the Fall Fest Waiver.
RUles
- Fall Fest is open to all current MacEwan Students. A valid MacEwan Student ID or guest ticket is required for entrance to the festival.
- MacEwan students may purchase up to three (3) guest tickets for their friends and family who would like to attend Fall Fest. Guest tickets are available for purchase. Guest tickets are only available for purchase by MacEwan students. Guests must pick up their tickets with the purchasing MacEwan student at a Will Call booth in building 6 on the event date. Attendees must be 17 years or older to attend this event.
- This event is subject to capacity restrictions. Admittance will be monitored to prioritize MacEwan students throughout the event. Entry for those with Guest Tickets will be prioritized prior to 4:30 PM on the event date. Re-entry is not guaranteed at any time.
- The beer garden is only open to attendees ages 18+. Government-issued ID are required for entrance to the beer garden.
- Attendees, exhibitors, and vendors may not petition, collect signatures, or sell items without prior approval from the SAMU Events Team. Any additional charges or contracts offered to attendees without approval from the SAMU Events Team are strictly prohibited.
- A baggage check will be in effect. Attendees will be required to have their bags examined before entrance. It is recommended that attendees store their bags before attending the event. Attendees who do bring their bags will be required to enter through a separate gate.
- This is a primarily standing event. Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Water bottles must be empty prior to entering the festival grounds.
- Beer Gardens will require drink tickets. Tickets will be available for purchase inside the beer gardens with a debit or credit card only.
- Artist merchandise may be available for purchase
NO DRINKING AND DRIVING
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from Fall Fest grounds

- No outside alcohol
- Oversized bags or backpacks are not recommended. All bags are subject to inspection.
- No glass bottles, cans or flasks. Water bottles are subject to random inspection.
- No flags, signs or banners. Anything that could block or obstruct the view of other guests is prohibited.
- No weapons of any kind. Includes knives, pepper spray, guns or sticks.
- No professional photo or video cameras. Includes drones.
- No illegal substances.
- Smoking and vaping not permitted on festival grounds.
- No sharp objects.
- No flyers or unsanctioned external promotions.
- No noisemakers. Includes airhorns, whistles, megaphones, drums, etc.
- No pets. Service animals permitted with valid documentation.
Any confiscated items may be collected from Campus Security in the week following Fall Fest.
