APPLICATIONS FOR 2025-2026 NOW OPEN
MacEwan committees focus on a variety of aspects of university governance, including faculty academic matters, research ethics and community engagement.
Students appointed to MacEwan committees will serve during the academic year, beginning as early as August 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026. Official committee appointment terms may vary based on time of appointment.

- Attend all committee meetings
- Prepare for committee meetings by reviewing agenda materials in advance*
- Prepare relevant insights and other notes prior to meeting attendance
- Provide an additional student perspective on each committee

HONOURARIUM – GET PAID!
Student Members of these Committees are provided an honourarium for each meeting they attend. Honourariums are provided to students at the end of their term, as per SAMU procedures.
