Let’s face it, being a student is expensive. We’ve put together a list of some of the best student discounts to help you save money. Not to mention there are a lot of bursaries and scholarships available to help fund your educational journey.
Budget and fees
Each student pays $13.50 per credit to the Students’ Association to a max of 15 credits. If you want to learn more about how your fees are spent you can view the SAMU 2024/2025 Budget or you can check out this helpful guideline.
SAMU cares and bursaries
The SAMU Cares program is a bursary which assists 60+ families each year and is funded by the creative fundraising efforts of the SAMU community. The bursaries are to help students and their families with financial assistance in the Fall and Winter terms. Bursary amounts depend on the number of applications and funds available. We try our best to allocate a bursary to every student who applies.
