Earlier this month, SAMU welcomed MLA Naheed Nenshi, leader of Alberta’s NDP, to campus for discussions on student concerns and how the province can best support Alberta’s post-secondary students. We focused in particular on changes to the Alberta student aid system, the detrimental effects it has had, and what funding for a healthy post-secondary system in Alberta might look like.
