Eco Month: Living Workshop

March 1 - March 26

This month, SAMU encourages you to participate in an immersive education experience with the Inner Development Goals Framework.

Our living workshop features five prompts we’ve placed around the SAMU Building. Each prompt invites you to think about one of the five pillars of the Inner Development Goals and answer a thought-provoking question. By answering a question, you’ll receive an invitation to join an exclusive luncheon of fellow ECO-minded students!*

FOR YOUR FIRST PROMPT….

Think of a place that is home to services and supports that enable you to reflect and focus on yourself at university. HINT: check out the hall of mirrors.

WHAT IS THE INNER DEVELOPMENT GOALS FRAMEWORK?

Inner Development Goals (IDGs) are a framework developed to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) by bringing awareness to the importance of inner development to people and organizations worldwide.

We’ve chosen to share this framework during ECO month to help you, the student, understand and interpret your role in your community and the world at large. The questions in this scavenger hunt describe a different part of the IDGs and are intended to help you think about what you can do to create change.

You can learn more about the IDGs and access the complete, open-source framework at innerdevelopmentgoals.org/resources

ECO MARKET
The Living Workshop isn’t the only thing we have going on during ECO Month! On March 18 & 19, we’re excited to host dozens of local vendors in our community ECO Market! Check out samu.ca/ecomarket for more info and to sign up for reminders.
